The Mountains
The Chilcotin Plateau is ringed by mountain ranges that include the Coast Range, home of Monarch and Waddington Mountains, the Rainbow Range, a favorite for hiking and trailriding, and the Itcha and Ilgatchuz Ranges, formed of massive shield volcanoes that have been eroded by glaciation and also a favorite area to hike or trail ride.
